Eventuri is proud to unveil the BMW Z8 Intake System, a meticulously engineered upgrade designed to improve the overall Z8 driving experience. Crafted from prepreg carbon fiber, we bring together function and form as a fitting upgrade to this iconic platform.
The Eventuri Z8 intake improves upon the OEM Z8 airbox by increasing its volume and optimising the shape of the airbox lids. The new lids, with integrated MAF tubes are specifically designed to reshape airflow, reducing restrictions that can hinder engine performance. They reduce areas of stagnation within the flow path which enables the panel filter to be more effectively utilised. As a result, this leads to improved throttle response and overall performance. The OEM airbox bases are already well-engineered with a large integrated cold air feed that extends behind the front bumper. The Eventuri Z8 intake system leverages this existing design while enhancing it with optimised lids.
To further improve airflow dynamics, we have incorporated smoother flexible hoses into our design. These hoses are engineered to reduce turbulence as air flows through them, allowing for a more consistent and uninterrupted airflow into the engine. This reduction in turbulence translates into better performance metrics across various driving conditions.
DYNO TESTING
This intake has been independently dyno tested by DREAM Automotive in the UK. Tests were done back to back against the stock airbox and several runs were taken with each configuration. We took the best results from the stock airbox and the best from the Eventuri system. The dyno results show a consistent gain throughout the RPM range which can be attributed to the higher flow rate of the filters and the optimised airbox lid design. The performance gain translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling more eagerly to the redline.

The Eventuri Z8 intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fibreglass which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:

AIRBOX LIDS
The airbox lids have been designed with integrated MAF tubes, which has allowed us to shape the lids in a way that reduces stagnation and turbulence. The flow path is now more direct through the panel filters and into the MAF tube sections. They also reduce the number of interfaces as compared to the OEM lids. Finally we have increased the volume of the lids as much as possible allowing for a higher flow rate to the engine.
INLET TUBES
To connect the new lids to the plenum we have designed custom inlet tubes. The new tubes allow for a smooth path to the plenum while retaining a flexible section to take in to account the engine movement. 
CUSTOM PANEL FILTERS
Our high flow panel filters use a multi-layer dry medium for effective filtration while allowing for a higher flow rate. They are also washable like our cone filters.
