Are BMW N52 N53 Catless Headers The Best Sound Mod?

The DCE Parts Catless Headers for the BMW N52 and N53 engines (E9X 325i/330i/328i / E8X 125i/128i/130i) lets the naturally aspirated inline six breath more freely and sound a lot racier. The last generation of BMW naturally aspirated engines deserve to sound this amazing. We are super excited to present you the raw sound of the DCE Parts N52/N53 Headers.

DCE Parts - BMW E90 325i N53 Catless Headers Exhaust Installation & Sound Clip

Our friends from DB Autotechniek installed the DCE Parts headers on a BMW N53 325i E90 and it transformed the car from a potent sounding car to a truly aggressive beast! The owner of the car has already done the Performance rear muffler mod before and also modified the resonator for a louder sound. This helped the car sound more aggressive, but it still sounded a bit tamed down.

We advised the owner of this Carbon Edition BMW E90 325i to opt for catless headers, based on our previous experience with the M52/M54 and N52/N53 engines, this will free up a lot of the sound. In our opinion, if you stay naturally aspirated, it is one of the best mods available for the classic inline six sound. The owner agreed and once installed, the results were amazing.

With the DCE Parts N52/N53 Catless Headers combined with the modified catback, the volume and aggressiveness of the sound has increased dramatically, without introducing any annoying drone into the cabin. A day and night difference. It also made the throttle response quicker and the engine rev more freely.

Let's not wait any longer, see the videos down below to get an impression of the sound!
