Precision Engineering:

Cobra Suspension is synonymous with precision engineering. Every component undergoes meticulous design, testing, and manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and durability. Their commitment to quality control guarantees that each product meets the highest standards before it leaves the factory floor.

Vertical Integration:

Unlike many competitors who outsource production, Cobra Suspension maintains control over the entire manufacturing process. From concept to finished product, everything is handled in-house. This vertical integration enables them to maintain consistency, flexibility, and agility in responding to market demands while upholding their uncompromising standards of quality.

Netherlands Heritage:

Cobra Suspension proudly hails from the Netherlands, a country renowned for its engineering prowess and precision craftsmanship. By staying true to their Dutch roots and producing their suspension systems locally, Cobra Suspension emphasizes its commitment to authenticity and excellence.

Global Reputation:

Despite its Dutch origins, Cobra Suspension has earned a global reputation for excellence. Their suspension components are trusted by enthusiasts, professionals, and racing teams worldwide, attesting to their performance, reliability, and innovation.

Continuous Innovation:

Cobra Suspension is not content with resting on its laurels. The company continuously invests in research and development to stay at the forefront of suspension technology. Whether it's refining existing products or pioneering new advancements, Cobra Suspension remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in suspension engineering.

In-house Development of Cobra Suspension Lowering Springs:

Cobra Suspension takes pride in developing lowering springs in-house. Their engineers use advanced technology and years of experience to create springs that not only lower ride height but also enhance handling and stability with maintaining comfort and safety as the priority. The original car will be tested on the road to get a base-line of the original suspension characteristics, how does it handle? How does it ride? All these factors will be accounted for when designing the new lowering kit. The original geometry of the suspension will be measured and afterwards, the original springs and shock absorbers are uninstalled in their workshop facility, allowing the engineers to take all the necessary measurements to develop new lowering spring kits for your car. It is all about the full picture, that allows the engineers to develop the best springs possible.

Once the springs have been designed, they are ready for the testing phase. The prototypes are also made in-house and are always tested on the vehicle to give them the perfect impression of how to product feels on the car. If adjustments are required, they immediately know how to adjust the design to get the best outcome. The fact that all these factors can be measured in-house, while the factory is literally next to it, it means that Cobra Suspension has full control over how the car will eventually ride, feel and look. This allows Cobra Suspension to develop the best product possible within a shorter amount of time. Spring designs are checked in their testing machines, that allow the factory to control the spring characteristics in great detail. Once they are produced up to spec, it means that the design will be approved for series-production.

Each spring undergoes rigorous testing to meet Cobra Suspension's high-quality standards. Most of their springs are designed to the TÜV-standards to proof the road-worthiness of the springs. TÜV certificates are available to springs that are commercially viable, please inform for more information.

In-house Production, From Development to the Final Product:

Cobra Suspension controls every aspect of production in-house, from design to the final powder-coated product. This vertical integration ensures quality control and precision. State-of-the-art machinery and skilled craftsmanship guarantee that each component meets Cobra Suspension's standards.

Coiling Process

After the design of the springs have been determined, the factory has high-end coiling machines and skilled personnel that produces the springs with incredible precision. The experience of their workers are essential to the high-end product that they deliver. With years of experience in coiling springs for the aftermarket replacement, performance and motorsport industry gives Cobra Suspension the knowledge to create the best products available.

Heat Threatment

After the coiling process, the springs are heat treated for better durability in the springs. This happens in high temperature ovens, that allow the springs to come up to specified temperature. This is an essential process in the production processes that allows Cobra Suspension to develop springs that are not only lightweight, but also durable in the long run.

Shot Peening

The state-of-the-art shot-peening facility has been built in 2020, which is one of the newest production facilities in the factory to date. Springs undergo various stresses and strains during operation, especially in demanding applications like automotive suspension systems. Shot peening is a critical process used to enhance the durability, strength, and fatigue resistance of springs.

Powder Coating

Powder coating offers numerous advantages for springs, including corrosion resistance, durability, aesthetic customization, and environmental sustainability. By powder coating springs, manufacturers can ensure that their products not only perform reliably but also maintain their appearance and functionality over an extended period.
