Door de plaatsing van een grotere downpipe spoelt de turbo sneller op door een lagere tegendruk. De turbo begint druk op te bouwen bij lagere snelheden. Het slaagt er ook in om sneller druk op te bouwen na het schakelen. Alleen al de montage van de downpipe levert meestal 15 PK en 25 Nm extra op. Door de downpipe te wisselen, verbetert u ook het geluid van uw voertuig.

Voor een goede werking en een optimaal vermogen moet de ECU van het voertuig opnieuw worden toegewezen om plaats te bieden aan de katloze B58 -downpipe. Dit product is niet geschikt voor gebruik op de weg.

Opties

De meeste downpipes van DCE Parts kunnen worden uitgerust met een volledige rechte Decat, een Catalytic Converter Look (maar met lege cat) of met een High Flow Cat.

DCE Parts heeft een line-up van Downpipes geïntroduceerd die niet alleen meer performance bieden, maar ook een veel mooier geluid. De DCE Parts downpipes zijn optioneel voorzien van een Catalytic Look terwijl ze katloos zijn, voor een beter geluid en een OE/Catted look. De DCE Parts Downpipe kan ook worden uitgerust met een High-Flow Cat.

Opmerking:

De Catless Downpipes en Catalytic Look Downpipes zijn alleen geschikt voor off-road gebruik. De 200 Cell Sport Metallic Catalytic Converter Downpipes zijn geschikt voor gebruik op de weg in de meeste landen. We raden aan om uw lokale wetgeving te controleren voordat u de downpipes koopt.

Controleer het uitlaattype van uw OEM Downpipe, dit onderdeel is geschikt voor voertuigen met het Slip On Clamp Type. Het verschil is meestal OPF en geen OPF-filter.

Houd er rekening mee dat de downpipe alleen past op auto's met Non-OPF Slip On Clamp Type uitlaat.
