Link pipe set (SS) was tested and developed together with Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) system.Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, this is a performance upgrade for the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) to a complete Akrapovič exhaust system, developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only. Featuring flexible tubes in the front section, this Link Pipe Set (SS) eliminates the catalytic converters of the standard stock exhaust, allowing more direct gas flow compared to a Ferrari 296 GTB equipped with a standard stock system. Tests conducted by Akrapovič engineers in comparison with vehicles with a standard stock exhaust and an Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) exhaust with the Link Pipe Set (SS) produced lower back pressure from the Akrapovič setup, offering a performance upgrade potential with mandatory ECU remapping.
